The objective of the project is to empower poor women through Skill Development. It should, therefore, be ensured that atleast 80% of the trainees are from poorer families such as those below poverty line, SC/STs, holders of Red, White cards issued by food & supply department for subsidized supply of wheat /atta and dal. landless agricultural workers, widows, divorced women, those from families engaged in low income professions like barber, cobbler, washer man, hawkers, construction labour.
